REMEMBER TO BACK UP EXPLORER.EXE!

1. Download Restorator (http://www.bome.com/Restorator/)

2. Take ownership of the whole Windows folder (see these links for more info: http://www.blogsdna.com/2159/how-to-tak ... dows-7.htm and http://www.blogsdna.com/2173/add-take-o ... dows-7.htm)

3. Open explorer.exe with restorator

4. Go to the folder called "Bitmap"

5. Replace 6801.bmp, 6805.bmp and 6809.bmp

6. Save as explorer.exe on your desktop

7. Go to the windows folder and rename explorer.exe to explorer.exe.bak and then copy-paste the new explorer, Kill the process in task manager and start it again.

Now you have a new custom start button! :D

Thanks for the Tutorial Sergio, another way to save is when your in Restorator after you have made your changes, open Task manager and kill explorer then save on restorator and then go back to task manager and hit new task, type in explorer and the changes will take effect.

That's how I've been doing it anyway, saved me a bit of time when I was trying to get the look right(I had about 20 explorer backups to delete though when I was done :what:

My advice would be to not use Norton, never liked it myself and install Microsoft Security Essentials instead http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
