The Virtual Customs Control Panel Extender is an application designed for Windows 7, it enables the user to simply add any program or command-line to the Windows Control Panel as a new item. Items created can just as easily be deleted too by re-running the program at any time.

It's perfectly safe to remove CP-X after adding your custom items as CP-X only gets used during the setup process of adding or removing items and each items settings are stored in the Windows Registry.

THIS PROGRAM IS STILL IN THE BETA STAGES!!
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND CREATING A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE USING IT!!

Here's some screenies of the 'adding' method...

BE CAFEFUL WHAT YOU ADD TO THE WINDOWS CP IF YOUR PC IS SHARED WITH OTHER USERS!

[Only registered and activated users can see links]
(Requires Windows 7 with .NET 2.0 or greater to run.)

Please feel free to leave your thoughts and maybe ideas for improvements, also keep an eye on this thread for command-line ideas and general updates too. :)

Here's an quick example for everyone..

To add that 'God Mode' to your CPanel you can use the following:

command-line:

explorer.exe shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Item Name:

God Mode

Item's tooltip:

Show all the possible settings in a single window that are available in the Control Panel

Then for the icon just point it to explorer.exe..
