how to add or customize the background of the folders in Windows 7?
what happens is that:
I want to customize the background on folders in Windows 7, but not to do for example to add this fund to an old issue that does not use this trick.
I want to do something like this in an old issue:

or change the picture to one of my preference, as an accomplishment?

Hi thegoa,
The way it was done there was by patching the explorerframe.dll if you grab and of the nucleus themes u will find the explorerframe patch and the image itself is in the msstyle,
or you could use the app suggested above by wassamatteru
there is also this app done by Kishan-Bagaria Win 7 folder background changer [Only registered and activated users can see links]

Sorry if bumping this 2+ year old thread is bad but I'm trying to do the same thing as the OP. I'd like to customize individual folders (200+) with custom wallpapers. I'm aware of the program from 2010/2011 by Kishan but it doesn't seem to work well for most people. I'm sure this is possible so how do I do it? Thanks!
