Hello, I have noticed that the community here has some really nice themes. I was wondering how I can change the top of menus, the menu backgrounds and the "close button" and other menu features. I have seen stuff in the Prometheus Extras folder, but I have no idea how to set it all up... Any help/ideas? Thanks guys. :)

Here is a screenshot of my Start Menu. It looks like the normal Windows Theme Menus: 055090

This is what I want it to look like: [Only registered and activated users can see links] ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

Notice how the menu of the opened explorer page in the second example is changed as well. I would like to know how to change my start menu and my program windows to look like they do here in the second screenshot.

Ok lets do a basic check list
First make sure you have your system patched to wear 3rd part themes - I would used universal theme patcher [Only registered and activated users can see links] and make sure you are using the proper version for your os x86 for 32bit and x64 for 64 bit os

if you have sp1 install don't use uxstylecore for patching it has been known to cause issues

2nd make sure you have installed Theme Resource Changer [Only registered and activated users can see links]

3rd make sure you have placed the Prometheus.theme file and the folder labeled Prometheus in c/windows/resources/themes

then select the theme from personalize menu on your desktop

I should also ask have you ever modified your start menu before with any other program that could be causing you problem if you have

No, I have not. I have only edited the Start Orb.
