good day sir,
is it possible to speed up the booting process of my laptop from the time i press the power button even upto the logon screen?

You could try disabling some services, that should help speed up your pc, for example if you are not using a printer, you can disble the printer spool service, which eats up ram in the back ground.

Also you can open up Ccleaner if you use that, and got ot the start up tab, disable as much as you can get away with, ideally you only really need antivirus to start running on start up.

thanks Gor, i really appreciate that you help me all the time. turning off the services slightly speed up the start up but there is still delay like 4-5 secs before the login screen appears(after the cursor shows up). is this normal sir?

best thing you can do if money allows it is replace your hdd with an ssd. it'll be the best thing you ever do to any computer. did mine an it boots up in no time 14 seconds at the most an thats with the bios detecting all my hardware. i did my brothers laptop which is a lot less powerfull than my pc an thats even faster at booting he's into a fully loaded desktop with gadgets in 10 seconds.
