Idk if I broke something but with the redstone update not everything is skinned. Primarily the left section of the control panel menus.

Yeah. Even uninstalled it. Downloaded the one from this page and reinstalled with the preferred settings stated in the OP.

Sign out and sign in again if you have only just updated ONE, it doesn't take effect properly straight away, it seems to keep the old ONE in memory even after it's uninstalled

Actually made it worse as now the ribbon with File, Computer, View in file explorer is unskinned now.

Had the same problem with the white panels, only way of fixing it was undoing patching and applying a different patcher or using dhjohns all-in-one installer. Just make sure to apply the default theme first.

Actually fixed it by completely removing oldnewexplorer. Restarting. Downloading the above provided link and restarting again. file explorer and control panel are working now! Thanks for the great work Grim!

Now if only I could get the November Update start menu back it would be perfect XD

Ctrl + Win key for default Windows start menu if that's what you are looking for.

Some reason Ctrl + Win key does nothing for me. But I mean without the hamburger menu. I don't like the "all apps" being open by default. That's why I have tiles enabled. So I don't have to see a huge freaking list.

You could change the start menu option to use full screen, that way looks like the Windows 8 start screen and doesn't show all programs, just the tiles.

I'm not much a fan of the full screen view. Wish they gave us the option for the start menu for those that liked the first windows 10 start menu. To me it was perfect.

Hello Mr Grim great stuff I downloaded this one but haven't installed it yet, I have a question about some other stuff I do have installed and wasn't sure where to ask you about it. I have hud red and hud green installed on my other computer and I have also downloaded your hud red icon pack hud green icon pack and hud blue icon pack, my question is when I install the red icons they show perfectly, and then if I install the green icons, it seems to make the red ones go away. am I only able to have one of the color sets of hud icons installed at a time? any help you can give me would be appreciated or if you can point me to a thread that goes indepth about the icon packs you have and their installation that would work also. I love your icons they are great and was thinking about using the blue ones with this evolution theme if I can have more then one color of icons installed at a time. thanks in advance for your time and effort on your themes and help

Sorry Quasimodo I would love for a way to have Icons change with the themes but sadly that's not possible, currently the only way to change icons is by replacing the default icons in the system files, maybe one day someone will figure out a better solution but for now you can only use one pack at a time.

no worries Mr grim I thought that was probably the deal. either way they aren't that hard to swap over and they uninstall the previous color. I never really ran themes on win7 or any other windos OS I have used but win10 just looked so cheesy I had to do something with it. I was actually just looking for wallpaper on deviantart and ran across your stuff and shemhamforash themes and just loved what you did with win10, so I am happy for anything I can get. I play around with building mesh and stuff like that but I am not artist at all so I have to rely on the goodness of talented people like you all to be able to make my things look sweet. once again thanks a million

I'm unable to activate the skin on Windows 10 1607 Anniversary Edition with all the Updates.

On another note, Something really weird is going on with the Icons as well. Take a look:

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the HUD Machine Aqua iPack
I've tried sfc /scannow
I've tried Icons Fix.bat
I've tried all the Icon Fix options from AVG TuneUp and Windows 10 Manager
No luck - I always end up with a combinaiton of Windows and iPack icons - never just one or the other
At the moment I'm with iPack uninstalled trying to go back to windows default icons (end goal is to return to full skin + icon pack though)

Yeah I was waiting for this to come up, sadly MS in their infinite wisdom decided to change where the clock text properties were located.

It was located in Taskbar & System Tray > System Tray > Basic > Clock but now instead they changed it to Taskbar & System Tray > TaskBand > Aero > TaskBand which as you can see is the same location for the task item buttons, the only thing I can really do in this case is either change the text back to the original for the task item buttons and have different text for the clock or find an alternative font that will look good for both, if anyone knows of a good looking alternative font then please let me know, the other alternative it to use always combine but I guess that is not the solution your looking for.

How can I convert it or any other theme to FHD resolution?
Almost theme are made to HD(1366x760) screen, not for FHD(1920x1080) one :crying:

So, this problem exists since the beginning of the RS1 theme and I'm using it since the beginning too, but with the bloody thesis, only now did I find some time to post about it.
I have to use the "light" version of the themes because I'm a university student and programmer and I need the text editors to remain intact.

Unfortunately, on the light version, the Properties window of any folder or file has white fore-colour text (instead of black) with white back-colour (as it should), so the end result is one cannot see any information (as shown on the attached picture).

This problem used to be on Drive (C:/, D:/, etc) on previous versions but I had posted a message (not unlike the one i'm posting now) and you fixed it :D

I'm really hoping you can fix it on the RS1 (and soon RS2) version now :)

P.S. Like the one before, it has to be the skin's problem, not a oldnewexplorer or sth problem on my part
P.S.2. This problem only exists on the "Light" version (HUD Evolution Light), not the regular one.
P.S.3. Don't get confused by the cyan icon pack I've installed - the theme installed is actually the HUD Evolution, not the HUD Machine Aqua (and the reason is because the HUD Machine Aqua don't support a light version, only a white which doesn't have black textures).
