View Full Version : Consolidated Dark for Windows 10 Anniversary Update

Here is an all dark version of Consolidated

76078

I included the theme atlas from Thin White Line for those
who prefer that style of Caption buttons.
This theme is all black so you will probably want to
also use MacType (http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/41042-MacType) for better readability

Looks excellent! But I have two questions:
1) What are we supposed to do with the extras folder? I know startisback++ will apply the start menu icon but what about the twl atlas?
2) How goes progress on the updated token light pack? That would really a fantastic addition to this.

twl atlas can be applied if you are using Aero Glass and the Aero Glass GUI tool. It will change the frames and caption buttons to
the ones used in Thin White Line.
icon pack is going slow but moving along.I have been working 10 hours a day 6 days a week so I don't
get much free time to work on theme projects any more. That's why it took so long to finish this theme :)

Well your efforts are greatly appreciated! I'm going to restart my computer and apply mactype again and I'll let you know if anything explodes or something lol.

Opened up as much stuff as I can think of and so far everything works perfectly (even the examples you gave in your mactype thread of unthemeable text areas appear themed correctly in this theme so I can't even check if mactype is working or not) except for the firefox sliders which are blinding white! If this is something you can fix please do so as I love my firefox and it is really blinding.

You have to do it in Firefox, you could try this, it is very customizable https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noiascrollbars/
or just hide them all together with this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hidescrollbars/

Thanks for the tip! Doing a quick search I also found this addon:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/overlay-scrollbars/?src=api
Auto hides when not in use, color can be changed (I have it set to very dark grey as many of my webpages are set to night styles/use stylish addon themes and this avoids black on black). Very nice and simple, with few options.

I'll take a look at all the tweaks yours offers now. Strange though that Thinwhitelines changed the scrollbar for firefox with the theme.

Thanks very much! Also if possible could you use one of the blockier looking scrollbar icons for firefox? On long pages the little line with a little square becomes super obnoxious to try and find.

Did you ever get around to updating the post with the version that has the updated Firefox scrollbars into this? Mine are still showing up as blinding white.

sorry.. I didn't mean to offend you. i simply saw u mention that you had it fixed and were going to upload it when you logged on and saw wolfy's post, so I'm sorry if I said something wrong. I also didn't see that post when I was looking through there before so I'm definitely at fault for not noticing it. I'm sorry for upsetting you. I wasn't trying to cause any trouble. :unhappy:

'Ello GSW,

I was wondering if there was still going to be a WMP skin for this theme? I'm currently using the twl wmploc.dll and it has a few areas that don't play well with BGE. Basically I remember mention of one being planned and am basically curious as to any info on it. This is still one of my favourite themes tbh. :peace:

Yeah, I've already got that one applied. It fixes the text issues, but the search bar still doesn't play well with BGE on Windows 10 RS1. Basically that one is the Black WMP reg edit. I may be wrong, but it looks to be the one I have applied to fix the text issue.

I can't even begin to tell you how this theme has saved my sanity, and in how many ways! I love how I can actually see the scroll bar in WMP Classic. Several dark theme's I've tried literally just black it out, or use colors so dark I can barely see it.

I use a projector, so light in the room requires dark themes to have more overall contrast for all controls. Your theme is the first one I've found that foots that bill!

Cudos man!! My new favorite dark theme!!!

I just noticed you left the extras folder out in the latest update. The twl atlas mentioned in the first post isn't in the install file anymore due to the missing extras folder. [not sure if that was intentional or just a minor slip of the mind, but i figured i'd let ya know anyways, lol].
