Recommended Prior to Applying Custom Themes

:bulletred: Create a Restore Point
:bulletred: Install Fonts included in the "Extras" folder
:bulletred: Apply System Metrics included in the "Extras" folder and logout or reboot
:bulletred: Install an iPack of your choice to change the system icons (check the Theme Extras section above for a link to the icons in the preview)!
:bulletred: Select the Theme's Start Menu and Taskbar in the StartIsBack++ configuration. If it's not a visible option to select the theme's start menu, apply your custom theme first!
:bulletred: Copy a Start Orb from the "Theme" folder to a new location, rename it, then open the StartIsBack++ configuration, click Add... select the Start Orb and click Apply.

As for your start menu, make sure "Display Gyph Icons" is unchecked in StartIsBack ++

The start menu shut down font bug is due to you not having installed the font "Blank"
The taskbar font in your second screenshot is because of the way the taskbar clock text has to be themed in Windows 10. If you want to show labels on the taskbar like in your screeshot, with regular font, you can uninstall the font "Unsteady Oversteer". You're taskbar clock will not have the right font after this, but the labels will look like this: 78064
Third, you can update your version of StartIsBack++ to improve taskbar skinning, the version you're using is outdated.

Yup. I thought it was the fonts so I deleted one at a time to see which one caused it. And noticed that in the .vbs it didn't auto install the blank font. As for the clock it just doesn't show the date underneath. Didn't have issues like I did with 1607. Thanks for the replies.

No you haven't done anything wrong, it is just I am using a different icon pack.

yeah I can but it's not perfect, I only made it for personal use, make sure you make a system restore first.

Yes, sorry should have replied back. It worked. Had to do a full power down not a restart for it work. Noticed this though. But still better than before. Thank you.

For me the context menu icons and the wifi icon changed but not the others. Also the restore point didn't remove them [there was no way to uninstall it]. I had to use WinaeroTweaker's refresh icon cache feature to fix my icons.

Basically it caused the same problem for me as the version made for windows 8/8.1/8.1.1

I'll likely test them again later to see if they will fully apply if i fully shut down my system instead of restarting. that seems to have worked for Stankfiss

Nope, that failed too. In fact this time I had to spam click the refresh icon cache button for it to actually fix the icons.... Oh well. I didn't fully expect to figure it out anyways since you clearly stated that it's not perfect, lol. If you find a way to make something like this work and have an option to uninstall, I'm definitely interested. I'd really like a fully functional Icons and Extras pack to use with this theme on RS2 [Unless the changes this one is made to do can be safely done via 7tsp, lol].

Im quiet new at customizing windows (*Themes) and was hoping someone could give me a few pointers in regards to fixing the explorers directional buttons (forward/backward) as i am sure i must be missing something... here is a pic of what i currently have:78881

Looks like you have the "Use alternate navigation bar buttons style" option enabled in Old New Explorer. Just untick that to fix that issue.

There was no update needed, if you have other themes working then this should as well.

Hoo boy, I feel really bad about this because I can't remember how the crap I got it to work right before, but this is happening.

I'm in dark mode, the theme is applying correctly everywhere else, but my explorer is doing this. I can't read anything unless I've clicked on in, and it also applies to searching in my start menu. What do I need to do in order to fix this? The only thing fixing it is switching to a different colored HUD Machine (I have blue) or just a regular Windows theme (which I don't want).
