I'm having trouble getting my custom splash screen to work right in CC 2017. I know where the image is stored and have a way to unpack the files and repack the files. But every time I restart CC the new splash screen comes up wrong. My image inside the box for the splash screen shows larger then what it is. Here is what I am talking about.

And this is what it should look like when it loads.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

According to his other post it should be here:

Hi Lamia I haven't been on here in a while but. I know where it is. It's in C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC/ Resources

@IcicleThief69 it seems like the image just needs to be scaled to the right size. Going by your screenshot the correct resolution would be 820x500 (which the image itself scales to without needing different length vs width). Here is the image for you to try:

In the Resources folder are files in the format (dat). The Restorator does not work with them!

I found this as a suggestion, maybe it works?

Disrupt Unpacker (http://svn.gib.me/builds/disrupt/?C=M;O=D)I use this for unpacking and packing .dat and .fat files.
Drag the file you want unpacked to Gibbed.Disrupt.Unpack.exe

Hey guys Thanks for the help. I have the program to unpack the DAT files and repack them. I got the image fixed, now I need to find the file with the legal stuff in it. I have one for CS6 but I know it wont work for CC2017. Another member on here gave me the right file for CS6 and was able to remove the text from the splash screen as it loads up. Would like to do the same with CC2017.
