Nice effects but just make sure it's not going to impact on performance, I noticed when you moused over the program list it seemed to lag a bit with the animation, unless that was the desired effect..

Heh, thanks. I agree that performance is crucial, so if it's any reassurance, the Reveal Highlight effect only updates when the Menu is visible, not to mention that the """lag""" you mentioned doesn't freeze up Start9 as a whole, nor does it hinder other applications. I'm still looking into more ways to further reduce the performance impact, although even in its current form, I don't find it causes any noticeable overall slowdown while in use (and this is on a machine that was mediocre in 2013). However, while by default the start menu skin determines whether or not to show the Reveal Highlight effect, the user has the option to forcibly disable it regardless if needed, as shown here:
