Hey folks!

Since there are many of you who aren't keen on the gold (or orange-ish) colors, I decided to get off mah lazy butt and re-do the Tec animated start in 4 more popular colors.....

There's Blue, Green, Pink (for the ladies), and Red!

*Credits to Harvey Sewdin again, for allowing me to modify his original 'Cyberfox Custom Homepage', and of course to EnzuDes1gn (DA) and Designfjotten for the elements in the background.

*As with the gold version, there is included an alternate dark minimal background in the "IMG" folders (you'll just need to re-name it to 'bg2'), plus a psd for the top-header with a layer for you to add your own welcome message under the glass layer.

You will need to change all the links in the top menu and main box areas to those you prefer.
Be sure to read the .txt files enclosed!

*Should work fine with most browsers.....I'm using Chrome.

*Aside from the obvious things that I re-worked, such as all the images and colors, I also tinkered with the coding
and added an "active" state for clicked links...

The preview here doesn't do it justice. Looks better live.

This start looks great with the HUD Launch theme by MrGrim!


You will need to open the Index.html file and add your own links + titles to the "menu" and "Links Panel" areas.
Once you add some links to the menu (top bar), the text will be centered more nicely incidentally.

Also, there's a psd for the top header in the 'IMG' folder that you can open with PS and add your own welcome message.
If you don't like the colors, by all means tweak them yourself! Add a different background, play with the
font colors, etc...

I also added an alternative dark minimal background. (In the 'IMG' folder, rename bg3 to bg2.) Preview here:

With Toadyshadow101's help, I was able to modify the "Simple" start-page originally created by DA artist XnDerKai, which was also a re-creation from another work there.....Credits to them all, and to Toady for sure.

This is the one I'm using right now with my HUD Launch setup....Looks awesome with it. Same colors, same font style, and jet-black background.

You'll need to open the index.html file and change all the links....they are set right now to Google. Change the titles to what you want. You can also add more links and columns.....just explore the html file; it's pretty easy to do.

It's best to stash the "Simple" folder somewhere like, say, in the hidden folder (unhide it by going to your control-panel, then choosing Folder Options, then View) Program Data. Or anywhere that you can just leave it. After you change the links , open the html file with your preferred browser, and set the browser to use it as your Home and/or start page. Each browser is different, so I won't go into details about configuring yours.

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST INSTALL THE ENCLOSED FONT "Vibrocentric" for the desired effect.

(if any of you want to modify this thing further, you don't need permission.....Go for it! And please Tag me with your re-creations! I'd really like to see someone maybe add some HUD Launch images to this....and perhaps a search-bar that looks "Launch-y". I'm not very good with coding, or I'd do it myself.)
