Enable all processor cores on boot:

1. Press Winkey + ‘R’ and type MSConfig;
2. Click Boot tab, select Advanced options...
3. Check Number of processors, and on drop down menu select maximum value for your processor.
4. Hit OK, Apply, OK.
5. Restart

Thank you but this is an SSD optimization guide not a windows optimization guide. I always do that though because it is definitely worth doing. You might check and see if someone posted a windows optimization guide and if not it would be greatly appreciated if you could post one up.
