I do not use UltraUXThemePatcher, nor any other theme patchers on RS1, and themes work perfectly. I do not need to restart after installation of Mr GRiMs themes.

Probably what you mean is that UxStyle on it's own is working perfectly. Same thing in my experience when I tried it on it's own. The problem seems to happen when UxStyle is installed on top of an already installed patcher.

Well that is a bad thing to do. When installing RS1 from TH2 you must remove all themes, and replace with RS1 themes. The themeui.dll, uxinit.dll, and uxtheme.dll must be original MS files installed with RS1. ONE may need to be restarted. It did in my case, but I was upgrading from 14393.5 to 14393.10. With a clean installation of RS1, I have had absolutely no issues what-so-ever with installing UxStyle, and the themes, and ONE. I have found the system does not need restarting to use any of Mr GRiM's themes.

You're talking about the UxThemePatcher method of patching on TH2 with the three system files text, not UltraUXThemePatcher (an entirely different app used for patching).

All I am saying is that the system files do not need fixing in RS1.

    Yeah, that's a given.
And anyone upgrading from TH2 doesn't have to worry about it since they will be replaced by the upgrading process anyways.
