I don't know much about GTK2 or GTK3 themes. This is a mod of Arc-Dark by horst3180 https://github.com/horst3180/arc-theme. If there is some part of the theme you find unreadable, let me know and I'll see if I can find the source of the error.
The only change I made in order to upgrade the Arc themes was to fix the size of some tray icons (a bug in some gtk3 themes, explained to me by XRevan86 https://github.com/XRevan86).
Other than that I just attempted to change some backgrounds to black rather than slate.
