You don't have to edit that Mr. Grim. Its an application. Its very secure. Noone can connect without your password. I use it at the police departmetn all the time. There is no way for anyone to comprimise your information either. Its actually very cool. You might give it some thought so if someone is having trouble you can connect with them and see what they are seeing.

Windows 7 Start Orb Changer is a free tiny portable tool that allows you to change your Windows 7 start orb with one click.

You can use Google to find start orb bitmaps and I have also added some start orb bitmaps in it.

There are two files in the archive:

Windows 7 Start Orb Changer.exe
and
r.exe

These two files should stay together otherwise it will not work.

It works with both Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit.

I was asked to do a biker custom windows 7 edition. I was wondering if I could get some help with a start button. I am thinking a still tire for normal, a smoking tire for hover, and a flaming tire for clicked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And as alway, I will credit the author when the release comes out.

Here is my try didn't have time for smokey tire but got the fire.

I use the software to change my start orb and everything seems to go good. the start orb changes fine and explorer restarts and I have a new start button. I havent tried the manual method yet as I noticed that the resource editor seems to be a 30 day time trial software so I didnt want to install it.

It probably doesn't have a hover and active its just one image 3 times.

can some one make me a nice 32bit orb for this with transparency backdrop. and for hover can u give it a purple glow around the U. and when pressed take the glow out and make the U a purple id greatly appreciated it. and size isnt really a issue to me

Hi guys, if anyone is interested in making more orbs, i have an interesting idea. it would start as crosshairs (gun sight), and then transition to sighting in on a head or headshot. Is this a possibility? I am interested in making one myself, but am currently to tied up with schooling to figure out how. Advice is good.

using windows 7 start orb changer gets me a error ("it says that i canot go to 'C:\windows\w7soc\') so i press ok then i try to change the start orb thingie and it comes another error in GDI+ do you guys had the same problem?
