Last week I was working on a project where I needed to create a sort of lightning effect like that Tesla Coil. I spent a couple of hours in Photoshop playing around with some filters to create the effect. So In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a Magic Crystal Ball with some nice light effects and textures happening.

That tutorial was very badly written...I called it quits at step 10 because he left out way too much detail. Even from the start what I had disn't look like what he did, and I followed the instructions to the letter.

I guess you could figure it out if you had experience, but if you're a n00b with Ps like I am, you aren't going to finish it.

The end result is gorgeous, and quite sexy, but with that tutorial, I doubt you'll achieve it.
