I have many 1024 x 768 and 1900 x 1200 wallpapers that I want to resize to 1600 x 1200 and since I have a lot, I don't want to pester anyone to do them for me. Therefore, I was wondering if someone could teach me how to do it myself.

You can use photoshop if you have it, if not try out this site http://www.picresize.com/

Just one thing: when I crop my images on the website, how do I know if the part that I cropped is 1600 x 1200? If I'm off, won't that lead to image distortion?

EDIT: Also, the site won't let me make images bigger, meaning I can't go from 1024 x 768 to 1600 x 1200. I'm pretty sure that stretching a 1024 x 768 image to a 1600 x 1200 resolution will lead to some degree of distortion, so I want to avoid this, which is why I want to change the images on my computer to the new resolution.

I might actually try using GIMP and then see how it goes.

My problem's solved. I got GIMP and one of my friends who uses it gave me a few pointers, so I can do the rest of this myself. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Thank you was really helpful. Incidentally, what is the Image class format is used. I thought it would give me an image format transferred object. I do not know how to get that other than the file name and the search porsing mail file.
