Vista Glass Effect ????

Hey can any one give me a tutorial about how to create this effect ( Vista glass or shining ) like in the picture below..

Its like full image is shining... Any one to help ??

To get the reflection on the top image is pretty easy, just duplicate the image and flip up side down using the free transform tool and make it a bit more squashed then the original then add a layer mask to that image and use the gradient tool with a black to transparent gradient and start your gradient from the bottom of the image and make it half way up the first image.

For the bottom picture to get that sort of glossy effect I think it was probably done using a 3D rendering program.
