System modders need to back up and take ownership of a system file before it can be replaced.
To make this process a little less time consuming I wrote a small program that does these tasks for you.

Se7en File Replacer

Changelog:Here (http://Here)

Requirements:
~ Windows Vista\Se7en (x86/x64)

This program will:
1. Backup the OLD file
2. Save the file ownerships
3. Take Admin Ownerships
4. Replace the file with the NEW dragged or manually selected system file
5. Restore the ownerships back to how they were found

File extension filter: "*.MUI", "*.dll", "*.exe", in the manual option.
Will only show these types in the select file dialog.

I've also added some extra option like:
"clear icon cache" to refresh your icons
and a "sfc /scanfile" option to select and restore a single file via the Windows File Protection service in an easy way.

WARNING: Use is at your own risk!
This tool is to replace un-owned system files.
Be careful not to use this if you don't know what you are doing.
This can and will break the system if corrupted system files are used to be replaced!

Notes:
~ Replacer will run in Admin mode
~ Just an .exe nothing will be installed. At replace of a file a backup "*.*.bak" will be made in its original folder (Once only).
~ Drag and drop only works if "UAC" is disabled (you can still use the program by clicking on the "Manual" button.)

Hope this will be helpful.

will it work ok for changing the login screen? or is there better program for that... I just had to reinstall, and i can't recall how i changed it last time. It seems it was just a matter renaming a file or 2 tho.
