View Full Version : Warning on New Nvidia Drivers

got this link in an email from a friend not long ago.... please read it and uninstall them if you have them installed..... bettor safe than sorry

Thanks for the heads up, I have that driver installed on my GTX260 and just looked at the fan speed and it's set to auto and is fluctuating between 64 and 65% but the temp is where it meant be at 55c, normally it sits at 40% unless it under load so there is something a bit strange with this one, lucky I haven't been playing any games on it yet.

Thank God they haven't released that driver for notebooks graphic cards also...
I immediately checked my driver when I read this!

Nvidia 196.86 Windows 7/Vista 64bit

To all people having video playback problems with EVR Sync/Custom in MPC-HC, its FIXED in drivers 196.86, so this was definatly driver problem... before you all go "where to get" go on laptopvideo2go, Dell drivers, only for Vista/7 x64 atm.

Inf Modified so far
64bit

Download driver , download inf , unpack driver , copy in into install dir ovwrite and run setup

nevermind, even them got pulled, they are still buggy as hell and heating up
