i may not be in the right forum but i downloaded the ultimate red theme for windows media player, and we changed everything just like you said, and we still can't get it to work. please help.

All you should need to do is take ownership of the original file and rename it .bak at the end and then paste in the new one, are you using x86 or x64 Windows?

windows 7 ultimate x64. it pops up a error message that says wrong file version.

my dad had to open the the windows media player wmploc.dll with restorator 07 and change the file version of the dll. and now it works perfect. my dad is virtual customs member ron59.
