recycle bin help

I recently added a rocket dock to my desktop and i want to use the recycle bin on the dockbar instead of the default on my desktop to give it a more clean look but i can not figure out how to remove the recycle bin from the desktop. Anyone have a clue on how to remove it since there is no delete on right click for the trashcan an nothing in property tab either

Right click on the desktop and select personalize and then on the left you will see change desktop icons and in there turn it on or off or set a new icon for it too if you like.
