Desktop right click menu problem

I am haveing all kinds of horizontal lines going through my right click menu.. any idea how to fix it?

Try my post on the tutorials and style hacks 1st page,i had problems with stripes all over ,if you,ve put an image in you have to do some work with the left and right sizing margins on the pop up item.
I found it quite hard but got it in the end.Hope this helps.

Thanks Dave, it turned out the hover image that I created was to big. strange because I always use the original size to work my new images with. but I just changed the hover image to one that I had made for a past theme and it was fixed.
