1. There a few places I know of, in the action center if you view the reliability, when you change the screen resolution and when you change the colour in the personalization menu and I am sure there are many other screens as well.

2. It's the last place anyone would think to look.

Buttons, Boxes & Controls > Scroll Bars & Trackers > TrackBar > BorderColor:Color
Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Window:Color

3. Sorry I don't know how to change that one.

Cool ,I just found a large command area window- Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Notification Area Icons-(the bottom of the window)
thanks alot for the others.
If you read this, where do i start with the windows help and support window
eg-top(toolbar back ground) bottom(status area)and the text in these areas.
This is never ending,I,m going to add"theres always room for improvement" to my signature
thank,s again, I,m impressed

ps -how long did number two take you to find-i,d never have got that

Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > Window:Color
Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > BTNFace:Color
Sorry don't know where to change the text colour for the help content.

It took about 15 minutes to find the first time but after that I remembered where it was. ;)

Fonts, Colors & System Metrics > Fonts & System Metrics > BTNFace:Color -Strange,this works on your themes but not on mine, I,ve noticed on my vista ports its a different color as well
The text is part of the tool bar text set up,just the background i,m missing, not important though , this is the only place i come for help.White is growing on me!
cheers any way,have a good one :D
