This is a Windows 7 Basic theme, both 32-bit and 64-bit are included. I made this theme from stock aero.msstyles and ExplorerFrame.dll files. There is no difference between my basic theme and Microsoft's original basic theme, all file numbers are exactly the same. This is just how I would have made windows 7 basic, had it been up to me. I released this theme about two days ago and about 500 have downloaded it, with no bugs reported so far. Instructions are in each themes respective folders. The theme can be downloaded from the link below, to save on your bandwidth here.

Very nice theme, that's is how Microsoft should have made it.

This is my favorite theme ever but... I noticed an annoying bug which is preventing me from being able to use it

-In windows 7 32 bit (I haven't used it in 64) windows media player shows flashing white lines every now and then. Only when this theme is loaded never with any other themes. I think it must skin windows media player or something and not work properly? I noticed windows media player looks a little different when the theme is on but even if I load another skin onto windows media player after this theme has been applied I still get the same issue. When I go back to any other theme the issue disappears???

Is there anyway to release a version without the windows media player skinning thing? Or fix the bug?

Lb - i've had no luck with your basic theme pack maybe due to format within - it's not in the usual standard format i.e [theme file, visual style file, shell ] - are you able to convert this theme "black shine win7" in the standard format ?? probably some others would also appreciate too - pls advise, thx !!
