so as your probanly know, there is a windows logo at the bottom of your windows 7 logon screen, saying "Windows 7 Ultimate" or "Windows 7 Home Premium" and next to that is a windows logo. Well i found a way to modify that windows logo. so instead of this boring windows logo there, i put a Half-Life 2 logo, its still in the shape of a windows logo, but it looks cool, none the less

to change it go to, X:windows/branding/basebrd/basebrd.dll and replace it with the given one

Enjoy :D

All you do is
1. Find and save an image as .dll
2. Paste in folder specified above & delete old one
Right? I am having trouble when I try to add my new file there..

Replaced images must be bitmap (BMP) with 32bit alpha chanel
Replace bmp's N° 120, 1120 and 2120 (121, 1121, 2121 are visible in winver)
