Tutorial request

Could somebody at some time construct a tutorial on the use and abuse of sizing margin, content margin etc.? In most of my experimenting there seems to be no obvious effect when resetting these but the fact that they are there suggests that they should do something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

+1, i have been searching every where for a guide on how to use these properties, so i can use true size in various places where the contents are stretched, in order to make much more detailed themes. if anyone could give a short explanation on how to use these functions it would be much appreciated!
