computer freeze

hi my computer has froze twice in 1 day no error msg's or nothink just freezes and i hafto turn it off by the plug socket ' i recently formatted about 2 days ago ' ?

any tips or ideas will be welcome thanx :(

i did a system restore using my windows 7 system repair disk it said it had failed but when loaded windows it was sucessfull i reinstalled java and flash ' still having the freeze problem

is there anyway i could tell if it was my hardware

Sounds like it could be 2 possible things hd maybe malfunctioning u can check the status of ur hd with is app here, http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/29322-HD-Tune-2.55


The other issue a driver problem have u installed any new drivers on your system in the last bit if so try reverting back to the old one to see if that fixes the issue :)

thanx for that ill try the hd program see what comes up i didnt do no driver installs just the usual windows 7 updates uninstalled java an flash player then reinstalled seems fine at the moment could it be graphics card problems using themes an things
