HOW DO I INSTALL FULL GLASS

I AM A TOTAL NOOB SO CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME A DETAILED DUMMIES GUIDE TO GETTING FULL GLASS ON MY WINDOWS 7. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. REMEMBER TOTAL NOOB IT HAS TO BE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW. THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE WHO HELPS, AND IT WILL PROBABLY HELP EVERY OTHER NOOB TO. THANKYOU

This is very simple if you would like it to start every time windows starts. Download the attached file if needed. Next click on your start menu window and browse to startup folder right click and open this folder. Next open the folder where you stored the full glass file right click full glass exe and create shortcut. Drag the shortcut into the startup folder. close all folders restart and your done. Your welcome

Yep you can do it just like big v said or you can just simply double click on the fullglass.exe file and it will run the program....no installation is needed. After you run fullglass you will see an icon in your notification area so you can exit the application whenever you like......I don't ever recommend running something like this at startup, just one more thing to slow your comp down. But for you this is probably the best way.

thanks for the replys. although i had a full glass file and double clicked on it but all what seems to happen is my writing goes yellow? is there any minor details you left out? thanks in advance

Not for shure what would be causing the text change. i have not used full glass very much myself. i have always used enhanced black glass myself which works very well on dark themes. you can get it here http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&q=enhanced+black+glass#/d2kr5jo and the install would be the same as the full glass just delete the full glass from startup folder.

No. It just means that your explorer background should be black instead of the original white it is in the original aero theme

Yes you need a dark theme not black but dark, the full glass app will only work on dark themes and it's also better to have a dark background, the theme also needs to have a very light text, white text works best.

For enhanced black glass yes but for full glass i don't think so. Like i said in my previous post i don't have alot of experience with the full glass but i will try to help in any way i can.

when i do it with a dark theme nothing happens the writing dont even change. the writing only changes to yellow when i do it on a white theme

have you tried enhanced black glass that might work better for ya anything that's black will turn transparent with that app

FullGlass is only for appl Windows Explorer.exe
And BlackGlassEnhanced appl.is for FullGlass Windows Se7en

hi thanks for the videos but they where not very clear and no explinations as of what you was doing as you was doing it. had to go find tune up utlities cause i see thats wot u used and mine didnt look the same and done the black glass and still the yellow writing. thanks for the effort but just not working for me

mike this maybe a dumb question but what color is your desktop? because the glass will turn your text transparent and if your desktop is yellow your text will be also.

Fullglass.exe and similar will not work on white themes. Only use fullglass.exe and similar for theme that are optimized for it, as for example Mr Grim's Midnight theme.

installed midnight and all it done is made my pc go to black without the fancy blue stuff and that on midnight and then run full glassd in startup restarted my oc and its running but nothing has actually changed. seriously people what am i doing wrong cause believe it or not lol im actually pretty good with computers normally lol

I hear you mike, i have been trying to install black glass, nature , midnight and i get the same results as you for a week now. i gave up cos it just done work. (win7 64) 5.9 rating.
