I dont use that program. But I would suggest maybe booting into save mode and trying to uninstall the uxstyle and use universal theme patcher instead and see if that makes a difference. I have tried uxstlye once and i had issues also i ended up having to reformat

Hi nemamga,

For the ultimate extreme I am assuming that is a theme not sure either way a theme or a file use this app for that lock hunter install this app then right click on the file or folder you cannot delete and unlock it this app will kill whatever process is locking the file or folder in your system so you can delete it you can find the application here : http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/28883-Lock-Hunter

For your system files that uxstyle core cannot patch cause they have been modded already I have prepatched theme files for both x86 and x64 os's here : http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/29112-Prepacthed-windows-7-theme-files-to-enable-3rd-party-themes (http://www.virtualcustoms.net/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=2544)

Just download the dll's look inside the rar at the 3 dll's that require patching on an os for 3rd party themes take ownership of the 3 same dll's in your system 32 folder if you don't know how to take ownership you can find a tutorial here : http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/30412-Take-Ownership-tweak-and-manual-take-ownership-for-exe-s-cpl (http://www.virtualcustoms.net/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=3968)

Once you have taken ownership of the 3 dll's rename them to .old so example would be themeservice.dll.old once you do that copy the 3 dll's you have downloaded from the rar file for the patched theme files into your system32 folder then reboot. After you reboot go back and delete the 3 dll's you have renamed to .old so this will replace the 3 files and they are already patched to use 3rd party themes for you computer.

Now you will be able to use any theme again on your machine :)

Tnx for the replys

@razorsedge: I delete Ultiamte extreme theme, after restoring files with uxthemepatcher , and then restart, and again patch same files, again restart... But even with that, i install some new themes, and same thing is happening over and over again... I use for example Mr.Grim Reaper theme, and after i switch it from Reaper to (for example) Ebony v2 theme, i got some seroious issue... For exampe, start orb and start menu is still Reaper, but other things are from Ebony v2, when i swtich to next one, the next one use files from previous two, and that is eror that i get when trry to delete them, i got eror that report me that some files are still in use

well you can always try deleting all your themes out of c\windows\resources\themes. putting all fresh patched files back as razorsedge said (I know you have done this but wouldn't hurt to do it again ) and then see what happens. I have had some similar issues like this and this has fixed my problem. Also putting fresh shell32.dll, explorer.exe, imerges.dll, ExplorerFrame.dll, etc...etc...files back in your system folders might also help.

Good Luck, Hope you get everything worked out.
