Windows 7 Aero Blur Tweaker is a small standalone tool that allows you show/hide the blur effect with a click. The replaces a few system files to make this happen.

Both 32-bit and 64-bit Tweakers are available for Windows 7 in the download pack. We have tested this tool on 32-bit Windows 7 machine and it works fine. Please create a manual system restore point so that you can revert to the earlier settings in case it doesn’t work for you. If you have any problems after trying this tool, refer the following steps suggested by the tool’s developer:
1. Restart your PC.
2. Take ownership of C:\Windows\system32\dwm.exe & C:\Windows\system32\uDWM.dll files.
3. Run the tool as administrator and click on Hide Blur.
