Hi,
Im new and feel free to insult right after this message since im almost 100% sure this has been answered before, but i couldnt find it.

Im curious how you change ur taskbar, the skin of it etc. No matter how many guides i read , none really solves my problem.

This was made from a guy named FireBlade, from Rocketdock. And his little to turtorial was simply this.

All you need to do is unlock the taskbar and right click on it go to toolbars/add new, and them make a new folder somewhere and call it blank for example, then select that folder for your new toolbar.

You then need to right click on the new toolbar and select view text/title and deselect those 2 options now repeat all those steps(you can use the same blank folder again) and place the blank toolbars on either side of your main Taskbar group and slide the taskbar to a central position.

Once you have it where you want lock the taskbar again (note that it move a little when you lock the taskbar so some fine tuning may be needed), and now you have a centered Taskbar.

If you like you can also make the blank folder hidden to remove it from view.

But everyone kept commenting how to get the actual skin i guess.

I did follow this guide, and this is how it gets.

While his looked like this.

So i guess im asking, can anyone guide me through this step by step?
Would appreciate it alot, or simply guide me to the guide if there exists one >.<

Thanks.

You need to install a theme from our windows 7 theme section first to change the taskbar, that guide you have is just to center the icons on the taskbar, you will also have to enable custom themes, I us UxStyle Core to enable them and then install your theme and apply it in the personalization menu.

If you want a easy theme to install try my Blade theme, I made a exe to install the theme so you don't have to worry about where to install it, it will do it all for you and apply it as well, you will still need to install UxStyle Core though or it will not work.

The picture isnt as big but you can clearly see the dots down the taskbar, and i cant get it to look like his.
So everything seems to work except the taskbar, just like before. And thats whats bother me :/

Thanks.

Lock your taskbar to remove the dotted lines, for the start button you will either have to install Theme Resource Changer and find a theme that uses it like my Blade theme, it also installs that with Blade so that would kill 2 birds, or you could download the start button changer from Kishan Bagaria http://kishan-bagaria.deviantart.com/ar ... -153001999 (http://kishan-bagaria.deviantart.com/art/Windows-7-Start-Orb-Changer-v4-153001999)

Where do we get the UxStyle Core from? I wonder if this is why I am having issues getting the rest of the icons to change on Blade.

Very Important!!!

You must enable the use of custom themes by either patching your system with Universal Theme Patcher or use UxStyle Core which runs as a service, either way will have the same result but UxStyle Core does not change any system files and is also update proof.
