Microsoft has updated Windows Virtual PC for the recently released Windows 7 SP1 and is now available for download. Windows Virtual PC is the latest virtualization technology from Microsoft for Windows 7 and enables you run XP, Vista and Windows 7 guest operating systems in a virtual Windows environment.

The updated Windows Virtual PC has been tweaked to work correctly with Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and it also includes the update for running Windows Virtual PC on systems without hardware virtualization support.
Please note that Windows Virtual PC is for Windows 7 (all editions) host machines only. It supports XP SP3, Vista SP1 (Enterprise, Ultimate, and Business editions), and Windows 7 guest operating systems.
