Hi guys,

I am a VLC's fan for years and I am getting mad not to find a VLC skin for rainmeter (only into the gnometer theme). You got such a huge range for winamp and really ''nothing'' with VLC.
Can you help me to find a nice skin ?
Thx

What exactly would you use a VLC rainmeter skin for? I can't really see the point to be honest, cuz VLC is a media player while WinAmp is an audio player.

Hi,

I made a theme with rainmeter and I would like to find a VLC skin to suit with my theme like I did for my others widgets.
I am using VLC (version 1.1.8) to listen music (I got mp3 files but also .flac and .ogg vorbis) and I am using it to watch movies, sometimes.

i would suggest maybe posting a request on the rainmeter forum they might be more helpful in finding a mod for vlc http://rainmeter.net/forum/

You can skin VLC. I'm not sure that is what you're interested in, but here's a link to the VLC skins directory where you can get tools to make it if you want to

Yeah that ain't going to be easy to make,as far as i remember VLC can't do transparent skins
Another option could be for you to switch to another audio player. I would suggest AIMP2/3. It accepts pretty much every type of audio files and it's a little app that sits on your desktop. I love it myself and have been using for a while now. It's skinable as well, so you should find a skin you'd like either here on VC in the section for it, or on DeviantART :)

You can get the latest Beta here (remember to change the language to English before installing or you will get it in Russian)
