View Full Version : Changing the Safari browser 'compass' icon

My Q isnt posted yet; but I found the fix! In x86 program files there is one 'safari.exe' file and various resource and .dll files. Since clicking on 'safari.exe' from this location opens up the browser for use; logic would have it that the icons to be replaced would have to be in the .exe file, right? NOPE! I opened safari.dll with resource hacker; under 'actions' chose 'replace icon' for the icon groups 100, 110, 111 and 112 (just as I had done in the .exe file).

googled all over for this fix; now all my icons are in line
