Looks good.

One minor issue though is it makes the writing on some programs very faint and hard to read.

there is no installer for this theme , so after extraction of the rar file theres a file called theme open that and u have 2 folder they need to be put in
c:/windows/resources/themes , and your done rite click desktop then personalize and it will show up in there

Unfortunately, it doesn't work, when i select Midnight theme, it shows a basic theme of windows 7.

I modified some things in theme, try now maybe I fix your problem.

There always some little thing that slips by .

Hey guys excuse my noobishness, but I've got the theme installed and my explorer windows aren't semitransparent like the ones in the screenshots. is there something i need to do? again sorry if this is a stupid question i didn't have much luck with Google.

Hy guys..U need a lil tool to make it all Transparent ;)

its very little and has practikly no memory footprint...

Its called "BlackGlassEnhanced by curiouso9"

u can get it here:

GUI enhancement, add option menu, simple tray.
- now user can add up to 14 process
- when user make changes, it immediately take effect unlike old behaviour that must be restart to take effect.
remember, your application background must be black.

I hate to sound like a complete noob (what is that anyway?) but I can't get this to install and look like your screenshots at all. I feel like a idiot. I was going to read the tutorial but I can't access it. Please contact me and walk me through this. I think it will work until someone make a theme for my Arkham wallpapers.

This is a gorgeous theme, but the checkmarks inside the checkboxes are pretty faint, and I'd love to get them lighter. Sadly, I have no clue on how to do this.

What for is 700.png in shell32.dll folder? What does it change?

Also, why you didn't upload your custom PerfCenterCPL.dll and WinSATAPI.dll files?

Its change nothing, in new version is deleted.

This is by Far and away the best theme ever made for any version of windows ever. #1 theme ever made and it is buried amongst the dead. Microsoft could make this a default skin and call it windows Xe 10's millions of dollars. Skins especially very very good ones are hoarded and shown off without credit all the time. because if they say who made the theme then it will get downloaded and they will no longer be special. I am guilty of this!!!!!! 100%... but 4 years have come and gone. I feel like they need to get the credit.
