Question about screen shots

I have been wondering for quite sometime now how some of the artists here posts screens of their visual styles that are blank, meaning no icons or system stuff, just the visual style itself?

What you are talking about are most likely concepts. Those are done completely in Photoshop and rarely contains any icons and such ;)

Or, some may colour over the icons in Photoshop later to help make the preview image look a lot cleaner. :P
