Hello everyone,
Recently i was wondering if you can make a OS kind of website and i started with the control panel. I thought it would be better if i made one page for my own OS(windows 7 home premium). I started with the links and saved the website as an application(save it as .HTA) and the result was a good looking control panel.
here are the steps:
1. make a website layout in notepad(like a table)
2. put links that has the location of the control panel item as an url. (like C:/windows/notepad.exe if you want notepad in your control panel)
3. save it as .hta
this is my first website tutorial and sorry i have no picture for this, but i will upload a example soon.
