Customize your usb stick(flash drive)

Hello everyone,
We are customizing our computers right? but what about removable storage (i am talking about software right, not hardware). i have customized mine usb stick and it looks good. here is a way: make your own autorun and replace the default removable media drive icon with another one.
if you can make a app, then place it also with the autorun.
this is mine startup:[attachment=0:uk92y8vv]Autorun.jpg[/attachment:uk92y8vv]
keep in mind that this picture above is an exe file. i created it for the startup and named it 'startup.exe'

create a autorun in notepad and it as 'autorun.inf'
the autorun will be:
[AUTORUN]
Icon=icon.ico
Label=Serious Drive
open=startup.exe

place an icon and name it as 'icon.ico'

and there you have a usb media. hope you like it and please submit some more customing tips.

Sorry i am giving a late reply, it has been day's since i visited VC.
the app isn't for download available sorry, because i am currently working on a better one.
Maybe i will post that one. :icon_biggrin:

Harvey may well be on the way to the next integration of the windows 8 os.

serious drive... looks good! of course, i always customize my removable devices...

A word of advice: do not forget to put more icon sizes in .ico file... Otherwise you might get ugly images with certain sizes.
