If you use my site skin Twisted Darkness it will look good, we will have light skins for the site as well so we will have to try make sure they look good for both but I am sure I can figure something out :smile:

Good idea, but I can't see why the word VC should be in the badge as that is kinda pointless since people should know what site they're on. Makes it cluttered to have it in there in my opinion.

I agree about not having the vc part in them.. Just seems like over kill to me. A different graphic for each one might be better. Something 3d that pops nicely. As it is we should do different ones for every site theme we come up with.

This white borders are fault of poor gif transparency support..
I don't saw it before becouse of using standard vB4 forum skin

yep. This is just the first theme of many more to come. After all, we are a themes community! What would VC be without a bunch of themes for the peeps to choose from here for the site.. They are also something that can be shared with other sites to use for their forum as well. Badges are hard to come by,well good quality ones, and is part of the reason you see this little comp here on Virtual Customs. Now keep in mind that these are being created for us and this site but adding another section for members to to find awesome forum buttons for there site is just one more thing we can offer to everyone. I spent many hours searching for good ones and they just aren't out there. At the time as I was rebuilding TWC I just did not have the time to make anything up, still don't have allot of free time, and when I saw this I was wondering why I didn't think of doing this at that time.

Wow guys some very nice work in here I have to say :)

I am sry for being away for a bit but after the comp was getting busted down by the wife to finish the work on the kitchen and outside of the house she let me slide on so I could do my themes lol

I like a lot of the ones I have seen in here, I have to say go with ANIMATION I think pretty much everyone except one person would like animation for the badges gives a nice unique feel to the site :)

I will try and whip some up this week to throw in here once I get the work on the outside of the house done keep up the great work guys looking gd :)

I really like the look of those, if you make the text a little bit clearer, maybe using another font might help although I do like that font, maybe just play with the spacing a bit and the outer glow see if you make it a bit easier to read the text. :Smile:

If you want to try another type of animation maybe just try like a diagonal glass shine that goes across the badge, but make so it has about a 10 second pause between each time it goes across and make it so the borders remain solid and just have the effect go across the middle of the badge as if just the middle has like a glass layer over it.

Just a heads up for everyone as well, I think it will be fair for everyone as you have all made such nice badges and put allot of effort into them, that we have the top 4 sets rotate for a couple of months and have them change every couple of weeks.

Or if it is possible as Josey was saying, have a different set on some of the different styles for the site.
