How to integrate user pic and search box in Start Menu

Hi guys,
I have a wonderful theme but the theme maker actually eliminated search box and user pic from the start menu, I wish to know is it possible to bring both these things back to that theme? If yes, then please guide me how can bring those thing back to that theme.
