here's my almost finished start menu

As you can see in the red square on the right there's a gap and i can't fix it. I can change the width of the program list as much as i want but for some reason, i can't do anything about the placelist.
Basically i can move the middle separation but not the edge lines of the start menu, can anybody tell me how i can fix this please ? (i have the issue both on the left and on the right)
In short, i need to shorten the width of the placelist by a few pixels and same for the program list but unfortunately, DEFAULTPANELSIZE:RECT (placelist) didn't fix anything.
