PotPlayer is a comprehensive video and audio player, that also supports TV channels, subtitles and skins.

PotPlayer is a much improved/faster version of KMP, including ffdshow and some other stuff to connect to a Korean-only video/chat network.

It supports seamless playback(up to 1000 -one thousand- AVI/WMV/MKV/MPG files at once, mixed containers are allowed), auto-resume on the last 200 opened files, has fully configurable XML skin files and also a D3D exclusive mode.

hey boss what do yah mean by silent installer?

Silent Installer means

an automated install with no GUI for user's ( Graphical User Interface )

Witch means that when you right click run as admin it starts installing and there are no windows no pop ups and no indication on its progress

apps set to install silent install faster too they are gr8 for slipstreaming into an os build and also gr8 for thos who dont want the hassle of having to click a thousand windows to install an app

also most user's have less issues installing silent apps

I have never been much of a fan of vlc player its a pretty big bloated app in my opinion I used to be a big kmplayer user then they changed it and it installs all this bloatware along with it now as well. So I have been using Potplayer for quite a long time now it has both x86 and x64 versions light app does everything vlc does and more and best of all is developed by the former developer of KMplayer before they changed their ways and started to add bloat to it now so the Kmplayer developer left and started his own project that is potplayer :)

I switched up the links to make it easier for you guys to dl that orig link for the homesite at the top of the post is the home site of potplayer Daum u would have to use google translate on it as thats what I always did as its a korean developed application the developer is korean.

I also swapped up the link to dl to major geeks to make it easier so you dont have to go to the home site and use google translate to get the dl sometimes the silent install links from ryan vm go down as sendspace the hosting service the silent install maker uses does not keep files for very long times like most hosts do these days lol

Thanks Tucker!---You rock bro. :superman:

I'm still going with vlc and AIMP3/Xion however. Guess I'm just used to them.:tu:

btw: why does vlc sometimes have this verticle shimmering line (barely visible) that comes in during the fast-paced action or movement in some movies? Is there some configuration-setting to get rid of it?
