View Full Version : Laptop with windows 7 what is the best theme and are they easy to install

Hey guys sorry if this is not the right place i'm posting in but i need help i am completely bored with the look and feel of my windows 7 laptoptop and would love to change it's appearence from time to time so my question is which is the best theme to buy and are they easy to install i would love to purchase 1 i think it would bring a little life back to my laptop. thanx in advance. ps i am a complete noob .

First off you need to patch your system Files with this. http://virtualcustoms.net/showthread.php/30902-Theme-Resource-Changer-no-more-dll-editing..

Then Downlaod a theme & put it in the dir like this. C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

Welcome. First you need to patch your system to enable 3rd party themes I recommend using universal theme patcher http://virtualcustoms.net/forumdisplay.php/896-Theme-Patchers 2nd Most of the themes you will find on the site use theme resource changer it can be found in the same location as the above.
Theme resource changer is the app that is used to allows images to be loaded in to memory at bootup so you don't have to edit system files.
Next pick out your favorite theme and downloaded it (most of our themes are free) either from the forum or one of the premium theme from the VC Shop.
Then place the .theme file and the theme folder in C:/windows/resources/themes Then right click your desktop and select personalize and select your theme from the menu
