HUD Evolution Mui Side images

I put these together to compliment Mr Grims Amazing new theme, HUD Evolution, you can get that here

to make some side pix images for some other themes I like, but I have to ask a question first. Since I noticed that the
original .MUI files don't have custom .BMP images, this has to mean that someone had to mod these original files in the
first place. Do you know who I would ask for permission, or maybe who made the mods in the first place so to give them
credits??? Your comments here maybe suggest Razorsedge? Best regards, Thanks..
ps, One other question. In the file "main.cpl.mui" there is an image for "Speed". Where do I navigate in Win7 to see this
new image change/appear??

I believe it was Razorsedge that made the bitmap tweak. As for the speed image, i think you would see that in the mouse pointer speed options, i dont have them installed right now to check sorry.

only thing is the only ones that dont show up are the taskbar and startmenu ones
when i right click on the taskbar and choose properties its still the old style

any ideas on how to get them to show up

i had this same issue.The fix that worked for me was deleting the files inside my "rescache" that is located in c/windows/rescache/(your files).I then rebooted and it solved the problem.Not sure if it will help yah,but is worth the try. Im running windows 7 home premium by the way.I dont know what windows you are running as it may differ."Do not delete the "rescache" file itself,only whats inside it.

thanks i did that and it didnt work so i just renamed the explorer.exe.mui file again the copied the modded one in and rebooted
and now they show up
im on win 7 ultimate 64

you may need to delete the recache files to get all of them to show up go to c/windows/recache you should see a couple of file marked RC00? - delete the contents of those rc folders, you may need to take ownership of the files before you can delete them then reboot

ohh i did all 3
the 2 folders and a file that was called ResCache.mni

but i saved the mni file to my other hard drive do i need to put it back in the rescache folder
