looks OK bud, I did a comparison with the same settings you used and my CPU clock is at 4.1Ghz at the moment, had a system reboot while playing BF3 yesterday at 4.4Ghz so decided to just drop it down a bit instead of increasing the stock voltage.

GTX580 Overclocked to 900Mhz

March 25th, 2012, 04:30 PM
Very nice, is that Crossfire your running there?

chevy350
March 25th, 2012, 05:36 PM
yup cards are in crossfire, the visiontek used to have the extra shaders unlocked but due to the diamond card not able to unlock they are both on original bios with a mild OC 840/1325 on stock volts......I was hoping the diamond card being a ref card it would unlock but I've tried just about every way mentioned and no luck

March 25th, 2012, 05:48 PM
WOW Why are your PCs so much better than mine? :crying:
But try running it with Tesselation set to "extreme", I think that should decrease you FPS dramatically ;) For those who don't know what that is:

Already did bud, that was with max settings, max 8xAA, Anisotropy x16 and at full screen 1920x1080

Oh, you're right, somehow I missed this... But what the hell did you do with your graphics card? It has 1536 MB memory (standard config) not 256MB... And why didn't the program recognize the card? Does the card have a custom bios?

March 25th, 2012, 06:13 PM
yup major hit, first is with same settings as before with tess at extreme and second is what Mr. Grimm had for settings

Hey grim nice themes. try knocking that overclock down 4.3 instead of 4.1 in most casesyou can get to 4.3 on stock volts an anything 4.4 an over requires a big bump in volts.
