Change the windows start up sound.

I replaced the wave file in the dll that was patched from the prime red 7tsp pack. The file isn't large as I've read the should supposedly be under 330kb. In resource hacker, the wave in the dll plays fine. I'm a noob, so what else should I do? I think this would be a good topic to have up because everything that comes up on google seems to suck, and this is one of (if not the best) customization sites there is and I'm sure lot's of noobs would want to learn how to do this. Thanks.

I am not too sure what it was you did there as the 7tsp packs from primes dont have a start up sound in the image res file just icons I normally never put a start up sound in any packs cause everyone wants something to their personal taste lol

there is honestly no size limit for what the file has to be I would just suggest u try and keep it to 5 seconds or less in length is all as I am sure u dont want when u start up ur computer a sound going on for like 30 secs or a min but u could do that if u wanted to lol

on here somewhere about 2 to 4 weeks ago someone posted a startup sound changer, so you may want to look for it. as for the size razorsedge (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/148478-razorsedge) is right it can be as big as you want. i had the entire deep space 9 theme song at one time as mine. there is this however.
