Is this only with That blade gadgets or other as well ?

1 - did you tried to modified that gadgets ?
2 - Close the rainmeter process & the sidebar process and resart only the gadget ....and see !

On your screenshot , rainmeter is still running , go to task manager and close it , do the same with the gadget , then ONLY open the gadget ....

Hmm it appears that possibly one or more of gadget files did not install correctly
What I would try first is a manual install to the gadget location folder.
First use 7zip to extract the gadget files to a folder on your desktop.
Next disable the current gadget by clicking the x on upper right side of gadget on your desktop.
Then in your start menu search field type shell:gadgets this will locate the default gadget folder location
Next delete the current folder for that gadget in that location and copy and paste the one that you just extracted to your desktop back into gadget location folder.
Close the gadget folder and go back to your desktop and right click your desktop and select gadget and reapply the gadget

i have not modified of comtuter status gadgets
I think the update has something to do with it

Ok then you have 2 options.

Read Big V (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/155318-Big-V) post , it will be faster.

or

1- Uninstall all the computer status gadgets from your computer
2- Restart you computer (important)
3- Re-installed your computer status gadgets.

Make sure Rainmeter is closed.

Like Big V (http://virtualcustoms.net/member.php/155318-Big-V) , said earlier , 1 bad reading or a conflict reading enable them to work properly.

I want to say what I got!:happy:

I took D:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe
and replaced it D:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe
Windows logged on and it runs :happy:
I think the sidebar.exe was corrupted or something in the D:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar !

Nevertheless, I thank you pats and Big V

don't see the os but I have a crapload of custom theme gadgets I use and none of the comp.status gadgets work on 8 & 8.1 I have tried about like 20.All others seem fine,just those.just tought Id throw that in.:)
