Hey friends just wanted to share some pictures I have been taking at the Intel LanFest. We got here on Friday at 11:00am and will be here through Sunday entering competitions and networking with all the big names in the computer hardware industry.

Thank you guys. I have also made a great contact here from Intel and hoping to start working at all the LanFests doing the initial setup/networking because they had a big network issue here and I worked on it for 8 hours and ran all their patch panels and 8 gigabit managed switches to get us up and running the first day after a lot of work...lol

Well worth it though because it is so much fun!

I have great news to report to all my friends here on VC, I actually won 3rd Place in the case mod contest here at LanFest 2012 and GESL.

My rig will be featured in CPU magazine which I am really happy about.

Now the interesting part about this is that my case mod will now be traveling with me to PAX Prime in Seattle Washington to compete for the Grand Prize. Basically they are picking one out of the 3 of us to win the Grand Prize there.

What I have learned is judges like to see liquid cooling so after going over the rule with them it is completely ok for me to further my modifications as long as it remains in the same case so I am going to do a couple fancy reservoirs with Helix inside them and go for broke.

I missed my chance to go to the LANfest in Colorado but stupid inventory can't this stuff count its stuff already? Thanks for the share just makes me realize what I have to look forward to next time!
