Modifying Windows 7

Just a quick question really, does all of the modifying of Windows 7 slow down load times and application responses?

Mainly asking as I would like to change my layout etc because there is some amazing themes online here however I use the laptop for work also so cant really afford it to slow down.

A very slight amount bud. Most newer systems the user won't notice much at all. It really all depends on what your system specs are and how much modify your going to do.

Thank you very much for the reply I was thinking about adding one of the whole themes that Mr Grim, Razorsedge etc have designed as there is loads of brilliant ones to choose from.

you can do a google search for tweaks to speed up win 7, which will offset anything a customization might do.
